I really like the idea of a vest-like core combined with hoodie sleeves! The mineral color looks silver in the photos but is actually more of a pale olive green, which I didn't mind. Only drawback is that it fits quite short by the waist and sleeves, so it lifts a lot when you shoot your arms out or raise them above your head.

I enjoy that this would be considered a heavier hoody. The insulated torso portion is warm and the hood is well proportioned and fits well. The ribbed cuffs at the sleeves are very welcome in that they are secure against your wrists and prevent the warmer air against your body from escaping. The torso is slightly narrow so plan to go one size up if you plan to layer it over something bulky, like a sweater. The only knock against this piece is that it needs a chest pocket as the hand pockets are not enough.
