Read the letter from our co-founder

Hey Planters,

At tentree, we’ve always done things differently, which is why we’ve swapped Black Friday for Green Friday. We’ve made our product and practices as sustainable as possible, from sourcing the world’s most eco-friendly fabrics to tracking and reducing the impact of every step in our supply chain. But nothing we’ve done compares to the 50 million trees you’ve planted so far. That's huge. As our way of saying thanks, we’re launching a site-wide sale with up to 50% off for Green Friday.

Green Friday is all about celebrating the impact you make with each small step. Whether you’re trying to eat more plant-based, bringing a reusable bag to the grocery store, or making an effort to purchase more sustainable clothes, every single decision has an impact — and Green Friday is no different. The trees we plant together for Green Friday will create lasting change that extends far beyond our sale. Planting trees means providing jobs so that families can put food on the table, it means rebuilding forests to protect wildlife and precious resources, and it means working together towards a greener future.

2020 hasn’t been easy, but the silver lining has been seeing the impact that collective action can have — especially when it comes to the environment. This year has presented us all with an opportunity to rethink how we interact with each other and our planet. And as we work towards establishing a new normal, how do we create a greener recovery? Our answer is by doing what we do best and planting trees for Green Friday.

Our Green Friday sale starts November 23rd. Let’s plant some trees.

We’re on this journey together, and we’re so glad you’re here.
